August 2009

I dunno why m feeling low!

No nth has happened, n its not abt leavin evry1 behind. Its abt my past.

I thought i had buried my past but i guess i m wrong. Today i heard 2 story abt my X’s. One got engaged n another is in relationship. But y m feeling bad? So wat they r startin new life? I 2 hav moved on but y ths restlessness now?

I dont hav explaination for ths!

I  don’t know what should be heading. So just left………….. (fill in the blanks :P )

OK, I have recovered. And no it wasn’t Swine Flu :)

I was just being lazy…so lazy in fact! So didn’t update anything…. But now I have got good news to share: finally I got Visa. Yay :D (you must be wondering how many times you say this thing: but that’s how i am hehehe :P )

Now hardly 20 days remained… so just waiting for the D day!! :)

Now wondering should i travel a day or 2 days earlier to Delhi and roam around… but still am not sure…. Roaming alone is boring, and no one’s giving me company…  :(

Beside these new developments: mostly nowadays I am occupied with Wikipedia. The information related to Nepal and Nepalis stuffs over there are either outdated or incorrect, so been busy editing those. Doing so, I have been paying little attention to my work: won’t be surprised if asked explanation :P

Finally weekend is here. Have plans to go to Kamineey…. Wanna see how kamineey is it :D

I met one of my friend after long time, 3 weeks to be precise.  He was sick, having strange cold attack. He’s having running nose but no fever and also no other symptoms except somewhat sore throat.

So i met him though  he had warned me that i might get the cold as a gift. And guess what, I did. My nose is not running but seems preparing for it….  And when i told this to my another friend, she joked abt  getting infected with Influenza H1N1 popularly known as swine flu. When i pointed out to her that my friend isn’t returnee from foreign country and she told me that he’s doctor by profession, so chances are there he might have contracted it through some of his patients.

And to enlighten me abt it, she sent me a power-point presentation explaining abt swine flue. After reading the whole presentation: now fear is creeping up somewhere….

I wonder when this hype will die out…. enough with this or that outbreak…

Seriously!! He’s not a kid, he talks like a grown up!

Feeling to bored to change channel, I was watching channel V. My nephew was watching tv with me and following conversation occurred:

Nephew: Mama, When are you going to get married?
Me: Hun? Why did you ask me?
Nephew: I see many marriages happening, even sushil’s (his friend) uncle got married few days back. But you don’t seem to be marrying anyone?
Me: Why would I? I am still young (smiles)
Nephew: But you claim, you are old enough. But old people get married. If you are not old, then you do you claim so?
Me: (now running out of words, have to show him who’s the boss)  I will marry but with whom? There’s no one, so am just waiting!
Nephew: But I thought you had girlfriend?
Me: (being suspicious) who?? Why do you think so?
Nephew: No you just seemed to be hooked on phone and mom (his mom) says you must be in relationship, that’s why you talking on the phone
Me: hehehe really?
Nephew: Yeah
Me: Ok, leave about me, let’s talk about you.  Your mom was saying that you did a tantrum about getting married.
Nephew: Everyone’s getting married except you, so I must be get married too.
Me: (Laughing) And you found someone?
Nephew: (Shyly) Yeah, mom has promised me that when I am big enough, I will be marrying a girl from tv
Me: (loss of words)

Apparently, mother and son had their own conversation about marriage earlier after the son complained about getting married. And to prevent further discussion, my sister has used her idea and told him that Kangana Ranaut (as her song was playing on TV and she couldn’t think of other names) will be his bride and she will arrange everything. And my nephew is making all the dreams!

I wonder sometimes, is he still a kid? Or some teenage boy trapped in kid’s body? He’s just 6 and he talks this way? Or the global warming is really affecting our lives?

I hated it, i was so bored and the story was so long….like it will never end… thank god it ended after all but giving me headache to deal with. :( Wish i hadn’t gone…even my mom got so bored… :P

Why do people love to take bath in public place? And that too in their innerwear?

I was so occupied with a training and my head was about to burst. Then miracle happened and one of my friend asked me to go out of bustling of Kathmandu, and I readily agreed. We decided to go to Godawari, a cool hangout place with a botanical garden. There was place called Paanchdhara meaning 5 water taps. And guess what? Men were taking bath in their innerwear that shows all the shapes and sizes. Agreed they wanted to take bath, but couldn’t they use clothes that are a bit more appropriate? They were not in their bathroom for god sake. People were coming, ogling at them but no one giving care at all. One a group finished their business, another jumped in.

Those men seem to be educated and rich (as they had their own bikes), but still……… I was so stunned with public display of tamasha.

And funny thing was: there were clear signs prohibiting people from taking bath.
